Cuddled up for morning reading
Caitlin has been reading a lot lately. She just woke up about 2 minutes ago and already has herself buried behind a book. Reminds me of my sister growing up. Judy Blume books have been all the rage in our household the past few weeks, for all of the kids.

Manga Bible made for students
The Bible has had a radical make-over in a graphic comic-book style, which aims to reach out to school pupils.
The Manga Bible has been condemned by an evangelical Christian group as "inappropriate".

Why am I not surprised to hear that some fundamentalists have a problem with this? I think I would have been far more engaged had I had a Bible like this.
Whipped out the Taekwondo gear for a little exercise
I got tired of hearing "I'm bored" and "Can I play Nintendo?" so I took out their old Taekwondo gear and had them break boards and spar a little. The boy wanted in on the action too, but I didn't want him to hurt the girls so I sparred with him for a little bit. He can still manage a good axe kick without much practice the past few years.
I want to get them all back into some kind of martial arts.
Apparently, I got my “early adopter” tendencies from my grandpa.
This was a gathering of about 30 relatives, a day prior to my grandmothers' memorial service. We were going through her old things and my mother told the story of how my grandfather stressed the importance of "learning modern technology" for his children. This typewriter was used by my mother and her 5 other siblings growing up. And it still works!

Shot with a Canon 5D Mark II, but I didn't get a chance to put my Røde Stereo Video Mic on so the sound is kind of crappy. Edited in Final Cut Express.
Oakley Surf Report featured in June Macworld
Crappy blurry pic but nice little surprise to find this on page 45 of the June issue under the article "Amazing iPhone Tricks"

A coupla nice M3's decked out with Carbon Fiber at Cars & Coffee
One E90 and one E46. Both white. Both decked out in Carbon Fiber. Both have sweet wheels. I'm getting very very eager for August to come.

Awesome car made from scraps
I love this car. Check out the engine scoop made from a mailbox. The old-school Ford hood ornament. The whatever-the-heck-it-is made with a bottle cap!
